Amazing Grace and Chuck is the film of Jamie Lee Curtis, William Petersen and Gregory Peck and was released in 1987. The story of the film revolves around a little lad of 12, Chuck Murdock, who lives in Montana and belongs to the family of a jet pilot. He saw a Minuteman missile during school field trip. This made him anxious and he protested against the existence of nuclear weapons by refusing to play baseball.
Smith, Amazing Grace, is a fictional Boston Celtics basketball player who decides to join the boy in his protest and resigns from professional basketball. His act attracts the media of nation and by the coverage of media more athletes join them in an order to protest against nuclear weapons.
Getting inspired from this agitation the President of the United States personally meets with the members of the agitation specially chuck and Grace. President admires their idea of resolving nuclear weapons but also explains his inability to act upon it. Meanwhile the sinister forces began to threaten Amazing Grace about his life along with his agent Lynn.
