Anand Jon Alexander

Anand Jon, a 34 years old fashion designer by profession and convicted of multiple counts of sexual abuse and child molestation. Finally he has been sentenced to a minimum of 59 years in prison for 16 counts of rape and sexual assaults of 28 women. In which 20 of those women have made formal complaints against Anand Jon including sexual exploitation of a child, sexual penetration by a foreign object, and forcible rape as well resulting in 59 criminal counts against him.

Anand Jon was born in south India in 1973, and came to US for higher Studies in Fashion Designing. He studied in different institute like Parsons the New School for Design and Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
First time he was arrested in march 2007 from California under the charge of rape and sexual exploitation based on the complains of of numerous aspiring models but later the prosecutor added 15 more charges against him and he advised not to leave US and was required to surrender his passport to US authorities.

He pled no guilty to all charges and said that all the complaints against him based on revenge by those models who rejected by him for photo shoots and fashion shows. But on January 13, 2009 he was scheduled to be sentenced initially. Judge denied Jon’s request in July 2009 for a new trial but Jon was sentenced to 59 years to life on 31 August, 2009. Jon also faces pending charges in Texas and Massachusetts.

In New York the prosecutors will charge him with more than 40 counts, involving 12 additional women and children and also including first-degree forcible rape. Indian Newspaper and a human rights lawyer forum are with him and some of them come to California to talk with Authorities about Jon’s survival but still no avail.
