Arturo Gatti’s funeral was held yesterday on July 20, 2009 at Lady of Defence Church in Montreal, Canada in which over 1,000 friends and family attended the funeral of late.

Arturo Gatti’s mother is Ida who was given a championship belt from the World Boxing Council at the funeral service for the performance he provided in his life. His mother on that moment proudly held up the belt and left the church in the end of funeral service.

Gatti is laying down in his grave today but many questions arise about his death, which are still remaining unanswered.
The wife of Gatti is Amanda Rodrigues who is currently being held in jail due to a suspicion of murder. Amanda has claimed that she is innocent and she also denies for the murder of her husband.

An initial autopsy report which was released on Saturday, According to the AP, the report tells that Gatti could have died in an unexplained accident which means that he may have been murdered or committed suicide and the reason is still a question mark. The report also indicated that Gatti died of asphyxiation after his body was suspended and then hanged.

The Lawyer of Amanda Rodrigues who’s name is Celio Avelino, told the AP that report said he was hanged so she could never suspend and hang a man of that size who has also a weight more than a lady. He has asked that she will be released from jail or not? Then he answered that a judge has denied the request for release but ordered that her writ will be examined by a three-judge panel.
Gatti’s family is not ready to believe that he committed suicide even they claim that there is not a one percent chance that he committed a suicide.
