Asphyxiation

The cause of death of Shaniya Davis have been revealed in a press conference as Asphyxiation. Autopsy report confirmed that she had been raped before being murdered. The case will be prosecuted by Cumberland County, North Carolina, the case has been officially ruled as homicide. Shaniya’s mother, Antoinette Davis and her sister’s ex boyfriend were alleged for the case. Additional charges, including first degree murder and rape of a child have been charged against Mario McNeill by the police.

Antoinette has been alleged that she sold her daughter willingly for the purpose of prostitution and she also lied on the 911 phone call. She knew that her daughter was in the accompaniment of Mario. Mario was caught on a videotape while he was carrying Shaniya into a hotel room. She has been charged with filing false police report in addition to child abuse with prostitution and human trafficking charges.

On November 10, 2009 Shaniya’s missing report was filed by her mother. Antoinette’s boyfriend was arrested but he was released after the Comfort Suites Hotel video surfaced, then police arrested Mario and charged with first degree kidnapping. Antoinette was arrested on November 14, 2009, in court she showed no emotions for her mjissing daughter.

Shaniya’s body was found on November 16, 2009, there were no clothes on her body except a tee-shirt. Autopsy was performed in North Carolina Medical Examiner’s office and now the autopsy report confirmed that she had been raped and murdered by asphyxiation.
