Some people find hard to lose 15 to 20 pounds but a woman did wonders to lose 200 pounds. Becky Griggs loses 200 pounds in 5 years through nutrition and exercise. She is a married woman and mother oftwo children. She works as a fitness trainer in Oregon City, a source of inspiration for many who want to become slim and smart.
This year she competed in a body building contest, her weight is only 139 pounds now. Becky was 352 pounds in her over weight days. She used a bookshelf of diet plan books. Earlier when she weighs 352 pounds, her blood pressure troubled her health. She decided to get in shape and take control of her life, at that point her life take a u-turn. Now as a trainer she guides her clients to shape up their bodies with a positive attitude. She said,
“I tell clients and people in my classes that when you can look me in the eye and say, ‘Oh my gosh, I had brownies and ice cream last night, and it was so good, that’s when you have it,’ ”
She added,
“If you pick it up and start to eat it, and the negative self-talk starts … that’s when you put it down and say, ‘No, thank you.’ “
