Rumors are circulating that Brian Billick is the strongest candidate for a coaching position opening up at Notre Dame. Brian Billick ia the former head coach of the NFL Baltimore Ravens. Spencer Tillman, a CBS Sports reporter, was the man who began this rumor during the half time of the Auburn vs. Alabama game and since then, it has been circulating all around. At Notre Dame, a person who is affiliated with the selection process stated that, “Billick had been mentioned as a strong and viable candidate for that opportunity.” Brian Billick would replace Weis, if he might selected as the new coach at Notre Dame.
Brian Billick is 55 years old and he got plenty of experience to his name as well. He coached NFL’s Baltimore Ravens from 1999 to 2007. In Super Bowl XXXV, Billick lead Baltimore Ravens to a 34-7 victory over the New York Giants. For Fox Sports, Brian Billick is also an NFL game analyst. As the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, he got a good record but he was fired as the head coach following a rough 5-11 season.
