The Maverick’s Dirk Nowitzki and Carl Landry of Houston collided with each other at Friday night’s game. After the collision both players went to the locker room in an order to have treatment. Nowitzki fouled by Landry and received a cut on his right elbow. Landry went straight to hospital for dental work.
It is just one part of the story the other is there were numerous stoppages of play and several controversial officiating calls for reviews and finally, the loss of Maverick from 116-108 which hurt The Mavericks and their fans more than anything else. Maverick’s owner Mr. Mark Cuban referred it as “multiple miss-applications of the rules”. He can say that as officials stopped the game for more the five minutes.
Mark says that only flagrant fouls-penalty 2 can be reviewed. He and Jason Terry looked upset on a clear-path foul called on Jason Terry. Terry said that it was a terrible game with no rhythm in it at all. It was not fun game and it was not fun for players as well.
Nowitzki’s had a deep gash and received a cut on his right elbow while Landry had three broken teeth. He threw two free throws left-handed. His X-rays showed negative result but I think Landry will have to buy three artificial teeth from Parkland Hospital.
