Carlie Attebury, 29, gives herself in the police custody for having sex with a minor. Carlie Attebury is a band teacher in El Modena High School. According to police Attebury was blackmail by 23-year-old Miguel Lopez. Lopez blackmail her to give her $20,000 otherwise he will tell the authorities about her affair with student.

After negotiation between Attebury and Lopez, Lopez agreed on $3,500 if Attebury send her nude pictures. She send him her nude pictures but Lopez again start asking for $ 4,500. Attebury tell Police Department in June 2008 about Lopez and police start tracking him.
Lopez was arrested and he will be presented to court in April. He has been charged for extortion and $20,000 fee on bail.
