American singer Carrie Underwood’s engagement ring didn’t bring luck charm for her fiance Mike Fisher. On Monday night she flashed her diamond engagement ring when she was attending a hockey game played between Mike Fisher’s Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins in Ottawa.Carrie and Mike became engaged on Sunday, December, 20, 2009. Carrie was chatting with a friend displaying her new diamond engagement ring, the moment was caught in the eye of camera.

Fisher, 29, confirmed the news of his engagement, he said,

“It’s true. We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”

Carrie Underwood began to date Mike Fisher in last year after meeting him at her March 2008 Ottawa concert. Her rep confirmed,

“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time.”

Although Fisher’s Ottawa Senators lost the game 2-0, his fellow players couldn’t be more excited for him. Winger Chris Neil said,

“It’s great. It’s a long time coming. There’s going to be a lot of broken hearts here in Ottawa with all those girls that are in love with Mikey.”
