Chastity Bono has finally decided and has announced to the public that she is changing her gender from female to male through sex operation.

Chastity Bono is an American writer, actress, musician and Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation (GLAAD) Advocate. She is an activist and a reality-TV star.

Chastity Bono is the only child of the American personalities, Sonny and Cher, her father and mother respectively.

Chastity was born on March 4, 1969. At the age of 40, in June 2009, she confirmed publically that she is under going a gender transition.

In 1995?s interview, it came out that she is a lesbian and thus she decided to completely change her physical appearance as a male because right now a man?s soul is trapped in a female?s outer cover.

She is right now in the early stage of her sex change process as the process started shortly after her birthday, this year.

Public and her relatives are supporting her a lot in this journey of her from female to male.

According to Bono, her father always wanted a boy instead of a girl. So, this way she would be able to fulfill her fathers wish.

She turned lesbian because of her parents divorce and emotional neglection. She was seduced by her best friend Joan, when she was 15.

Chastity will turn out as Chaz Sun Bono very soon. She has requested media to give her space and privacy throughout the whole process as she would not be able to give interviews during all this.
