After 1st September Conan O’Brien is free to join any other network as on Thursday the contract between Conan O’Brien and NBC has been sealed. On 21st January early morning, the final deal was signed.

Conan O’Brien is popular for his show Tonight Show on NBC and due to his popularity several other networks are already roping him. These channels are TNT/TBS, USA, HBO, Showtime, FX and Comedy Central but he blamed it on the contract with NBC that he couldn’t have any official discussions. According to Reuters Conan prefers Fox on the other channels. Conan has mainly young audience and Fox is trying to make its place in the late night show time that’s why it has showed interest in Conan. And he is certainly the best option for the Fox. So we can say that it is totally a win-win situation.

On Friday Night Conan O’Brien said goodbye to The Tonight Show and presided his final Tonight Show. It was a sad somewhat funny celebration of the leaving person Conan O’Brien as the host of The Tonight Show. He said that he would do nudity and he would like to be played by the actress Tilda Swinton who is the Academy Award winner if HBO made the movie. Andy Richter said that he was hoping for Val Kilmer. Tom Hanks said in an interview by Steve Carell for Conan’s I.D. badge that Conan would always be THE host of The Tonight Show” in their house. The show was ended with a song and a sweet version of Long May You Run was done by Neil Young.
