Contessa Brewer had an embarrassing Wednesday afternoon as she called Jesse Jackson ‘Al Sharpton’ while introducing him. The news anchor for MSNBC was embarrassed on her mistake. To introduce Jesse Jackson she mistakenly said.
“Joining me now to talk about this and the nation’s real problem of joblessness, the Reverend Al Sharpton,”
On this, Jackson replied.
“I’m Reverend, Jesse Jackson,”
On his response, Contessa Brewer immediately said.
“Right, I’m so sorry,”
She added.
“The script in front of me said ‘Reverend Al Sharpton.’ I’m looking at your face. I know who you are, Reverend Jackson, we all do. I’m sorry.”
Contessa Brewer was in Parsonsfield, Maine. She was born on March 16, 1974. 35-year-old Contessa Brewer is a news anchor by profession. Currently she is working for MSNBC. In 1992, Brewer completed her graduation from Sacopee Valley High School in Hiram, Maine. She attended S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In broadcast journalism, she is a bachelor of science degree holder.
In September 2003, she joined MSNBC. Before joining MSNBC, she also worked for WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and KMIR-TV in Palm Springs, California.
