Da Brat, whose real name is Shawntae Harris is sentenced to three years imprisonment. She was charged for striking a hostess with a rum bottle at an Atlanta-area nightclub. She was sent to the jail for three years imprison on Aug 22, 2008.

According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution’ in formations, a DeKalb County judge, she will be under probation period after her released. She is also bound to perform 200 hour duty for community service. This plenty is given to her for striking a bottle on the hand of her one employee on October 31, 2007.

This tragic incident was happened during a Jermaine Dupri Halloween party at Georgia-area nightclub Studio Studio 72 in Atlanta. The Superior Court Judge Gail Flake said that the woman is suffered from severe and permanent facial scarring. She has been hospitalized after this incident. According to the information gained from police, now Da Brat and the victim had reportedly gotten into an altercation.

Through some resources it has been informed that Da Brat has some anger issues with club management because a pistol was also found from her.

The people are still in shocked and do not believe that she is sentenced and will go in jail? Many people hoping that God will not do some thing different with His this 35 years old child? After all she is a human being who committed this act in anger.

The same sentence was given to another female, who have been imprisoned for the charge of attempting manslaughter named, Lil’ Kim, Foxy Brown and Remy Ma.
