Donny Osmond Dancing With The Stars Winner

Here we have Donny Osmond, the former pop icon and the new champion of “Dancing With the Stars”. On Tuesday, 51 years old music star Osmond got the winner’s mirror ball trophy in his hand at the final of contest reality program of ABC. Singer and Grammy winner Mya would have been disappointed as many were thinking that she will get trophy. She was entered in finale with highest scores amongst all contestants. In the final of the ninth season of the show, tow celebrities remained in heading including Kelly Osbourne and former congressman Tom Delay. Kelly is the daughter of Ozzy Ozbourne, was the first eliminated while former congressman had to leave the show due to his injury. The winners are decided by the votes from viewers and a combination of scores by judges.

“I don’t have the physique of a [UFC fighter] Chuck Liddell,” Osmond said. “I don’t have the youth of an [singer] Aaron Carter. But what I do have is experience. And our strategy is simple — dance well.”

Osmond will be proud to be the third Utahn to win the competition. Before him, country singer and dancer Juliana Hough was the winner of fifth season who won the competition with her partner, car race driver, Helio Castronerves and her brother Derek had the seventh season with talk show host and model Brooke Burke.
Osmond’s sister, Marie, had also competed in the show and got the third position at the fifth season, two years later.

“I couldn’t be more proud of him,” sister Marie Osmond told KTVX. “Bless his heart. But now I’m going to have to keep him humbled.”
