Deborrah Lee Furness is a great Australian actress born on 1955 in Australia. She went to Methodist Ladies’ College, Melbourne and graduated in 1973. She is also a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts from New York.

She met her life partner in 1995 who was her co-star Hugh Jackman in Australia while shooting a TV series Correlli. Hugh proposed her after the shooting of three months then they got married on April 1996. Her husband is very happy with Deborrah which he said in an interview that he was so impressed with Deborrah that he started making plans to propose her .He also mentioned that he was never ever attached with anyone the he was with Doborra. They adopted two children son Oscar Maximillian 8 years old in May 2000 who was born in 15th of May 2000 and a daughter Ava Eliot 3 years old in July 2005 who was born in 10th of July 2005.

Deborrah won four awards FCCA Award for Jindabyne as best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2006, 2nd FCCA Award for Shame for best actress in 1988, Silver Seashell award for Waiting as best actress in 1991 and 4th Golden Space Needle Award was for Shame too as best actress in 1988. She was also nominated two times. First she was nominated for AFI Award for Jindabyne in 2006 as Best Supporting Actress role and 2nd time she was also nominated for AFI Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Guest Role in a Television Drama Series SeaChange in 1998.

Deborrah worked in Two Brothers Running in 1988 as Silver?s Secretary which was very popular among people now a days she is filming the movie Blessed.
