Devon Hollahan, 22, was reported missing in Frankfurt. His father, Jeffrey Hollahan is an executive of Morgan Stanley. On November 20, after attending a concert in Frankfurt he was separated from a friend and hasn’t been seen since.
Police spokesman Andre Sturmeid said,
“For us, this is a just a normal missing person case at this point,”
He added,
“He may have simply run away, become the victim of an accident or a crime or something else may have happened. We are investigating all possibilities.”
Devon is an American citizen who was visiting Frankfurt from Prague where he lives and works as an English teacher. In 2002, banker Friedrich’s son was kidnapped and killed while in 1996, a 40 year old Jakub Fiszman was kidnapped and killed in Frankfurt. In both the cases the killers demanded ransom money form the families, later they were caught and sentenced for life imprisonment.
Jeffrey Hollahan is a first vice president at the bank, he said,
“There have been a lot of resources called in to assist us, but to date there are no hints, no nothing. He’s literally just dropped off the face of the earth,”
Devon Hollahan is 22 years old, six feet, weighs 150 pounds and has red hair. He was wearing green plaid shirt, jeans, a black jacket and a cap when he was disappeared. Anyone who have information regarding this matter is asked to contact Frankfurt police or the US consulate. Jeffrey said,
“Their plan is to review the information on his laptop to see if there’s anything that suggests that maybe he had other plans once he got to Frankfurt,”
He added,
“They will also get some of his clothes to send to Frankfurt to help the team with search dogs.”
