Dionte Christmas was upset, that he has not been selected in NBA Drafts last night.
Dionte Christmas, currently plays for Temple as a shooting guard, has an average of 20 points per game since last three seasons and played an important role in leading Owls to Atlantic.

In last night’s draft, 60 players were picked but unfortunate Dionte Christmas was not among them. The man who won 10 titles in both last two seasons was considered favorite for the draft but was not selected.

Dionte Christmas, who watched it at home said that,

“It’s disappointing,”

Dionte was really upset and was not expecting this at all after his super performances, said,

“My dad is real upset. But I’ve been an underdog my whole life. People weren’t expecting me to do what I’ve done thus far. I’ve put it in God’s hands right now. Some team is going to want me. And I’m going to give them everything I’ve got. Nothing less. I wanted to hear my name called. My family wanted to hear my name called. If that would have happened, it would have been a blessing. I’m upset. I’m going to lay low for a little bit. Then I’m going to get back to work to show everybody that I belong. I’ve definitely got a chip on my shoulder. That’s [my motivation].”

Villanova’s Dante Cunningham was selected at no.33 and Saint Joseph’s Ahmad Nivens was selected on no. 56 were picked last night. Both these players were from Big 5. Dionte Christmas were considered equally goog player as Cunningham and Ahmad Nivens last March, in the City Player of the Year discussion.
