Yesterday radio station Power 92.1 has announced that Virginia’s DJ Peachez passed away after a very short illness. In a brief post on radio it has been announced :It is with a heavy, heavy heart that we tell you that our own DJ Peachez passed away today after a very short illness. She has been with iPower 921 since 2006 and will always be remembered as an inspiration to young women who aspire to be on air DJ’s and Mixers. Terika Grooms aka DJ Peachez was a graduate of James Madison University and she truly loved being a DJ.
But no further details are available about this post. She has been a part of radio since the age of 17. In 2005 she moved to Richmond and because of her skills as a DJ in a very short time period she became the first lady DJ to have a regular mix show. DJ Peachez earned the title of “First Lady of the Cap City” due to her determination.
Now according to many blog post she has passed away. Some of her close friends also confirmed the same news. Either its a rumor or a true news no further details are available even this news has not been made official.
DJ Peachez’s very close friend Nicki Minaj posted the following on Twitter:
“I’m sad to say @djpeachez passed today. She will be missed. RIP sweetheart.”
If its true then its a great loss not only for her fans but also for her friend and family.
