Saints quarterback Drew Brees said,
“This is our legacy and that’s special. This is something that will always be with us. I woke up and turned to my wife and said, ‘Did yesterday really happen?’ She said, ‘It did.’”
Even the coach Sean Payton slept with the Super Bowl trophy. Brees added,
“Our victory last night was the culmination of four years of hard work, fighting through a lot of adversity, ups and downs and more importantly than that, representing a city that has been through so much.”
