Dustin Diamond, the actor who played the role of “Screech”, in the Saturday morning sitcom ’Saved by the Bell’, wasn’t invited for the cast reunion photo shoot. The recent photo shoot was conducted for the cover of People magazine for this week. Dustin remained in the cast for the hit series in the late 80s and early 90s.

The reason due to which, Dustin wasn’t called for the shoot is that, Claudia DiRomualdo , the spokeswoman for People Magazine, told RadarOnline.com,

“Cast members were not comfortable with including him,”

It is also being said that the reason behind not including Dustin Diamond is the book, which Diamond wrote about his cast and guest stars from ‘Saved By The Bell.’

About his upcoming book, Mark-Paul Gosselaar told Newsweek magazine that he is very excited about Dustin’s book and said,

“We were (bleeping) groupies at 14? I can’t wait to read his book, because I don’t have a memory of a lot of the shows. Maybe it was because I was doing lines off of the audience members’ asses. I’m sure he’s going to write something crazy like that. So he’s writing a book, I’m not really afraid of what he has to say. There are not too many skeletons in my closet.”

Dustin Diamond suffered lots off problems including fading career, financial problems and also got involved in a sex scandal. It is clear now, if the cast Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Lark Voorhies and Tiffani Thiessen reunites for a new series, actor turned writer, Dustin will not included in it.
