Mistake is something from which we learn and some times mistakes become helpful for us. This is part of growing up.

In our lives we always dream to achieve something, do something extraordinary, dream to place and rank ourselves above other. We dream to make something special out of our lives.

You will feel unlucky of yourself if your one mistake destroys your all efforts that is what happen to Dwayne “Deejay” Hunter, a 19 year old former football and track star from Middleton High School in Hamilton. He was proved as convicted and sentenced 180 days in jail, 5000 hours of community service and 5 years probation. He also can not participate in any organized sports.

Hunter is losing his dreams as he couldn’t play collegiate sports and also lose his opportunity to receive a first class education.

Now we see what was a crime committed by hunter. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Hunter

“shot a 15-year-old boy twice in the face with a BB gun. He fired the gun from a vehicle, with one projectile striking the victim’s eyelid”.

What do you thing about the decision of the court? Is it fair to give a sports man these kind of double sentenced punishment. Hunter should be given a second chance without destroying his career.180 days imprisonment was enough because he is not a repeated offender. Hunter deserved a second chance before career bar.

This is something which is precedent for the emerging athletes, who think that they will get away with any thing they will do. If you have an opportunity to prove yourself shouldn’t let it go and always rise to the occasion.
