FN Five Seven
FN 57 pistol was used by Malik Nadal Hassan in shooting at Fort Hood. The gun is a 5.7 millimeter pistol and comes in a version that goes through armor and is only sold to military customers and law enforcement. The gun was likely to be banned in US in 2005 but failed. Now, the question is this How Malik Nadal Hassan get it before attack at Fort Hood?
It is reported that he bought FN 5.7 from an armor store of Kileen months ago. Tonight AP reported
“The most powerful type of ammunition for the FN 5.7 … is available only to law enforcement and military personnel… It is not clear which kind of ammunition that Hasan bought.”
Malik Nadal Hassan (US Army Major) killed almost 8 people and injured 22 with the help of his other companion also military officer with the help of FN 5.7 at the army base of Fort Hood, Texas. Fort Hood army base is the largest army base of the world holding almost 55000 army personnel.
The injured were quickly sent to the nearest medical centers where doctors and surgeons are operating them. Barrack Obama is handling the situation at White House with FBI Officials while police is searching the killers.
Malik Nadal Hassan was born in Suburban, Washington and a graduate of biochemistry. Both the officers were wanted to leave the army they were extremely angered on the behavior of their fellow military officers but they poured out their anger on innocent peoples.

The 5.7 is really pretty puny for self defense, or as an offensive weapon. The little 40g bullets carry far less stopping power than larger calibers like the 9mm, 40 S&W, and .45 ACP. The “armor piercing” ammo carries an even smaller bullet weight than the civilian rounds. I like mine and use it for plinking at the range. It’s not my first choice for carrying, even though it is light, it is large and not does not have sufficient power.
I daresay that there would have been far more casualties had Hassan used a .45 or even a 9mm. The Glock 9mm accepts a 33 round magazine as well.
Hassan shot these people. It’s not the gun’s fault.

The FN 57 is a sweet hand gun, but rather than blame the root problem, Hassan is a traitor and committed a terrorist act in accordance with his extremists views, liberals are going to blame the gun… typical…
I’m glad he’s alive so we can convict and then hang this traitor.
