The number of victims killed by the suspected South Carolina Killer has become five. Last Thursday, the suspected killer shot the teenage girl when she was trying to help her father in their family?s small furniture and appliance store. The girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition after the incident. Abby’s father was killed at spot but she some how survived. But the unfortunate girl died on Saturday.
Dennis Fowler, the Cherokee County coroner said, Abby Tyler, 15, died about 11:15 a.m. at a hospital in Spartanburg. The incident occurred a few days back when she was closing the store along her father. Tyler Home Center is the name of the store and it is situated near downtown Gaffney.
On Wednesday, an 83-year-old woman and her daughter were shot to death and a week ago, a 63-year-old peach farmer was found dead at his home. All these killings are believed to be linked by the investigators according to Sheriff Bill Blanton of Cherokee County. The police is in search of a suspected male serial killer.
A sketch of the suspect has been released by the investigators, saying he is in his 40s, with salt and pepper hair, about 6-foot-2, and roughly 200 pounds. They also think that he is driving a silver Ford Explorer.
The residents of South Carolina are alarmed and most of them canceled their plans for the Independence Day. Sheriff Blanton said that he is concerned and he warned people to keep themselves alert and in anxiety he also said,
?people are going to start shooting at shadows.?
