The word “Equestrian” is collected from Latin language. In Latin the word,” eques” is called Knight. The word “equus” is the imitative of the word” eques” which mean is horse. The word, “Equestrian Statue” clears the sense that, statue of person sited on a horse. Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue is the largest statue in the world. It is situated on the bank of “Tuul River” in “Ulan Bator” a largest city of “Mongolia”.
Genghis khan Equestrian statue is based on a big foundation of 10 meter high. The foundation is made by stainless steal and has 36 long columns around it. The statue of Genghis Khan is nearly 40 meter high. An entertainment setup is arranged in the base of this massive statue. There are restaurants, recreation area, conference, and souvenir shop for the visitors. The complex is surrounded by green forest.
Genghis Khan is known as a legend in Mongolia. Genghis Khan’s birth name was Temüjin. There is no specific source about his birth date. It is said that he was born in 1162. He conquered a big part of the world in the age of 65. He had a dream to rule all over the world, but could not accomplish it.
