Jesse James an American outlaw with a legendary status in his field. He was a mysterious and charismatic character. Countless movies were made with the plot based on his character and life. Many books were written on him. Wichita Ron Pastore devoted has devoted years to know the unknown about Jesse. Documentary made by History Channel makes a good use of Pastore’s knowledge in which he overturns much of the material in what we believe about Jesse James.
Ron disagrees that James was killed in Missouri in 1882 by coward Bob Ford as history told us. According to his thesis which includes forensic research and photographic analysis James was not killed in Missouri, but much after that in Kansas where he died.
“We believe that he faked his death and lived to be 88 years old and not only that but he buried a bunch of treasure out on the prairies,”
Pastore said.
James robbed banks and trains so he must have a huge treasure. Documentary consists a part called “Jesse James Hidden Treasure”. Treasure of James have been searched by Pastore and others in southeast Kansas.
Pastore said,
“In today’s value that money that accumulated over 17 years of his crime spree would be 50 to 60 million dollars and only a couple hundred thousands of it’s been recovered,”
Pastore further said.
“So it does have to be out there somewhere.”
No solid evidence or any sort of proof was given by Pastore, even he did not tell KSN that where they searched the treasure or if they were able to find anything. But their effort will provoke others to search the Hidden Treasure.
“I believe that it will get more and more traction as we go and they start opening their minds to the fact that — look at the evidence, don’t just believe what you’ve heard or what you read in books,”
Pastore added.
“Let’s look at the facts.”
Even after all this many of us are still not sure, some will be confused. Whether James died in Missouri or he died in 1935 in southeast Kansas as Pastore believes. You can be judge this for yourself. This program airs on the History Channel Monday night at 7 p.m with Wichitan Ron Pastore.
