According to reports of different media Jimmy Clausen was punched. He was punched outside CJ’s, a South Bend burger joint on Saturday evening. Jimmy Clausen was punched by a fan after having lunch with family and friends. He was hit hard by the fan and left him with swollen eyes.
The reason for this attack is still not confirm. Restaurant’s spokesperson clearly denies that the incident happened in the premises of the Restaurant. Police spokesman at South Bend said that no police report has been lodged of this incident.
One of the employee of the restaurant said that the incident happened when Jimmy Clausen came to restaurant with his family and team mates after the Notre Dame loss to Connecticut on Senior Day. He also said that the incident happened when an angry fan said something to the female family member of Jimmy Clausen present with him.
It is doubted that Jimmy Clausen may miss any forthcoming matches due to his injury. It is not the first time ha has been involved in the off field attack it also happened in the past. The person and the actual reason of the attack on Jimmy Clausen are still not known. The entire situation will be clear in few days.
