Joan Rivers an American comedian, talk show host, and businesswoman recently won second season Celebrity Apprentice 2 which was surprising for many other celebrities. River?s is famous for her comedic style, loud and raspy voice. She was born in 8 June, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. She is a graduate in B.A. in English literature and anthropology from Barnard College in 1954.

River?s started her showbiz career in 1950s and 1960s. She married two times. Her first marriage with James Sanger the son of a Bond Store’s merchandise manager was in 1955, they got divorce after six months because Sanger was not interested in children. In 15 July, 1965 she married second time with Edgar Rosenberg. She is a mother of a child Melissa Warburg Rosenberg, who was born in 20 January, 1968.

River is an active member of PETA who works for animal rights. She also wrote a quote in the New York Times magazine about President Obama that he should, “have his ears pinned back,” because they, “annoy,” her. She becomes an Honorary Chair of the Imperial Court of New York’s on 21 March, 2009. She was also nominated for Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Best Leading Actress in a Play for Sally Marr and Her Escorts, which was her own script with Erin Ladd Sanders and Lonny Price on 1994.

Her voice in Shrek 2 was also used. She also worked in many TV serials like Lady Boss in 1992. In 2008 she performed in theatre ?A Work In Progress by a Life in Progress? in a comedy festival.???
