Joe McKnight

Joe McKnight

Joe McKnight

It is reported that the news of using of sports vehicle by Joe McKnight’s is confirmed by USC coach Pete Carroll. The sport vehicle is owned by Santa Monica businessman. If McKnight was using the car for business connection then it was indirectly a benefit according to NCAA and they can make him ineligible as a punishment.
It is not the first time a high-profile tailback got involved in the scandal. Like this DeShaun Foster who is also a high profile person of UCLA did the same like act of driving of a Ford Expedition of a friend of an agent in 2001. NCAA also ruled him ineligible. For this act he lost the chance of playing in the last three games of his career.
UCLA suspended Foster for his this act because NCAA determine him ineligible and after that he never played for his team. That was a big lost for Foster because at that time he was the nations famous and third of the leading rushers for his team and also he was considered one of the best candidates for upcoming Heisman trophy.
McKnight has stated that I don’t know what is going on, the only thing he said that we will have to wait and watch for the results because according to him he do not know the whole story. It would be difficult for USC to let the McKnight play for them if there would not be any resolution of this problem because there is a risk involve in playing of an ineligible player in team.
