On the Manny Pacquiao Miguel Cotto at MGM Grand there was a fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Troy Rowland in which Julio kept his undefeated record. Troy Rawland was not able to beat his opponent. Chavez won the middleweight bout in the 10th round.
Probably one thin line was the difference between Troy and Julio which really turned the result of fight in favor of Juilo. He is younger and more aggressive in his approach. His movement in the ring was far better than Rawland.
Rawland was living with a dream of a fight in Las Vegas but Chavez was too good for him. Youth and aggressiveness of Chavez really tilt hard Troy. Impressive record of Chavez is now 41-0-1. Fight was stretched to 10 rounds in which ended up on scores of 99-91, 98-92, 97-93.
Julio’s father was a four division world champion and the greatest fighter in Mexican history. Chavez was in superb rhythm and form throughout the fight as his heavier punches were seem to be deadly for Troy. In rankings of World Boxing Council, Chavez is ranked No. 1 super welterweight contender.
