On Sunday, at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards Kathy Griffin surprised everyone as she arrived on the ceremony with her new date 19-year-old Levi Johnston. The “D-List” actress Kathy Griffin and the teenager daddy of Bristal Palin’s baby Levi Johnston, hold their hands while walking on the red carpet.

Griffin said,

“Long-distance relationships are not easy, especially when he’s in his igloo and I’m in my Hollywood tower,”

Johnston previously created headlines last year when he became the father of Bristal Palin’s baby Tripp. Bristal Palin is the daughter of Sarah Palin, former U.S. vice-president candidate. The father of 7-months-old Tripp joked,

“I just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I’m told,”

Johnston wore a black suit with a pink attractive tie and his dressing was completely matched with Griffin’s fuschia dress. Griffin said,

“I have played Alaska, but so nowhere near where he grew up,”

Griffin added,

“I played a Rosie [O'Donnell] lesbian cruise there and I’m pretty sure Levi wasn’t on that cruise. I mean, I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure Levi is not kicking it with the lesbian cruises.”

He also appeared on the Tyra Banks Show after the birth of his baby. For a GQ issue, in that show, he posed with his newly born baby shirtless. When Johnston was asked about his son Tripp, he replied that his son is doing really well.
