Ken Ober, host of MTV’s Remote Control, died Sunday at the age of 52. The cause of death has not been announced but according to his agent, he was found dead in his home. On Saturday morning, he spoke with his friend, who was the last person with he spoke, complaining of a headache and flu-like symptoms. Friend advised him to take some medicine and consult with a doctor as soon as possible.
Adam Sandler told MTV News that Ken Ober was one of his best friends. He was a sweet, sharp and a quick guy. Dennis Leary released a statement saying
” Denis Leary also got his start on the show, and released a statement saying: “Kenny Ober was and always will be the quickest wit in the room… a smart, fast and hilarious human being who made many of us, including myself, laugh until we cried. As the star and host of Remote Control, he was a welcoming ringmaster who helped to kickstart the careers of numerous talents, including Adam Sandler, Colin Quinn and myself. He will be remembered always by each of his friends not only for his massive talent but for his true, deep and enduring friendship.”
Although the death causes have to be determine yet but there is no chance of a suicide attempt. It was a natural death.
