Kris Aquino, the youngest daughter of the late former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino was so upset on Wednesday during her mother’s eulogy and she burst into tears while she was explaining that how her life will change now after Cory’s death.

Kris Aquino is also an actress and a television host. Kris said as her mother is not with her family, for now on her eldest sister Maria Elena “Ballsy” Aquino will have to go to the office alone as mom is not with her. Kris said the lives of her other sisters Aurora Corazon “Pinky” Abelleda and Victoria Eliza “Viel” Dee are also changed. Kris said her brother Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, has now lost a partner and a campaigner who helped him throughout his political career.

In her speech, Kris said:

“Wala ng magte-text sa akin tuwing magla-launch [ako] ng bagong programa ko ng ‘good luck.’ At pagkatapos, as soon as mag-end ang show, nagco-congratulate agad to say, ‘I’m proud of you.’”

Kris Aquino, in her emotional speech said,

“I’m sorry mom, I lied to you. Nagsinungaling ako when I told you na we would be okay. I did this because we wanted you to be free from all your pain at para hindi ka na mag-alala tungkol sa amin. Pero, mom, it would take a lifetime for us to be okay because we will forever miss you,”

After Kris’ eulogy, her sisters were seen crying while her brother was holding his tears and grief back.

Cory was 76 at the time of her death and she died of colon cancer. She was the first ever female president of Philippines and was an amazing leader.
