Liz Murray was born on September 23, 1980 in the Bronx, New York. Inspirational speaker of America was born to drug indicted family. She was born to HIV positive family and well known for homeless in her youth. She is very struggling personality and work hard to achieve success.
When she was just 15 her mother died and she became homeless as her father moved to homeless shelter. Her life was very struggling and she started attending the Humanities Preparatory Academy in Chelsea, Manhattan.
She has to look after herself and her sister and joined school later then most students. She was very intelligent despite of lack of facilities and remained homeless. She graduated in two years. Due to her efforts she was awarded with a New York Times scholarship for needy students and accepted into Harvard University, matriculating in the fall semester of 2000. She had to leave Harvard in 2003 due to her father illness so she joined Columbia University . Her father was very week due to AIDS and died in 2006. She decided to come back to Harvard and came back in 2008. She graduated from there in June 2009. She earned her graduated degree in psychology. She is very determined and started taking courses at Harvard Summer School. She likes to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology so that she can help and guide people about all aspects of life.
