Russ Sittloh claims to see a monster in Madeira Beach, known as Normandy Nessie, for at least 6 times over the last few months. According to Florida man the creature is about 20 feet long. He has also captured it in his camera from behind his home where the creature lives in canal.
But that creature might be a manatee. A biologist reviewed the video captured by Ray and judged it as manatee by the speed and size of the object but Ray does not agree with the opinion. He says
“I’ve swam with manatees, I’ve swam with sharks, I’ve swam with sea snakes, there is no way it’s a manatee.”
Apparently, Ray thought that it was an anaconda but then he realized that the creature had a tail and anacondas do not have any tail. He said that he saw of two like that and they might be dangerous.
Manatees are big aquatic marine mammals belongs from the family of Trichechidae and also known as Sea Cows. Swims with their paddle like flippers and generally have friendly relations with humans. The word “manatee” has been derived from the Caribbean term “manati” means “breast”. Usually, they have a length of 4 meters. The 550 kg beast spent most of its time grazing in shallow water at the depth of 1-2 meters. Baby manatees have 30 KG of weight at the time of birth.
