To make a new world record, two men named Omar Al Hegelan and Nasser Al Neyadi jumped from the world’s tallest building. They set a record for the world’s highest Base jumps.
They jumped from the top of skyscraper almost 2,205 feet above the ground in Dubai and remain in the air for about 10 seconds and then they open their parachutes. Previously many records of jumping were made but this is record of jumping from the tallest man made structure.
Omar Al Hegelan and Nasser Al Neyadi are experts of skydiving and they jumped from the tallest building after the full permission of the Dubai authorities. In 1997 Omar Al Hegelan started base jumping and become very proficient in it. He expressed that it was really a fun for them and declared it ‘the most beautiful sensations’ he has ever experienced. He also said that they done it legally after the permission of authorities and they have registered a new world record.
Omar Al Hegelan said that they have made it clear to everyone that legal and safe jumping can be possible from the Burj Khalifa.
At present time Burj Khalifa is the world tallest man made structure and its cost is $1.5bn. After this successful skydiving it is predicted that many other skydivers will also contact Dubai Authorities and seeks their permission for jumping from the tallest building of earth.
