Leonid Meteor Shower

The guys who are interested in Leonid Meteor shower are waiting the moment when they will able to view the free sky show. Leonid meteor shower occurs every year in the month of November and the best day to view these falling stars is 17th November. The moon can create difficulties but if the moon is in first quarter then no problem occurs. But the good news is the moon will not visible from earth as it will in first quarter.
According to the experts of NASA and other astronomers the USA will have a shower of 20-30 meteors an hour while the Asians will get 200-300 meteors an hour. The best time to watch the meteor shower in USA is after 1:30 a.m. EST to before sunrise.
Perseid shower falls on earth in August, Orinoid shower in October and Leonid shower occurs during this time. But amongst all, the Perseid shower is the most intense sort of meteor shower.
Leonid meteor shower travels with a speed of 71 km per second with a visible diameter of 1mm to 1cm. in 1999, there was a storm of meteors on earth falling 1000 meteors per hour. The show will continue for next two days.
