Mexican Independence Day History

Independence Day proves to be a very important day in history of every nation. Sept. 16 is a very important day in the history of mexico.199 years ago they got there independence from Spain.
The root of independence is far back when the famous Hernan Cortes coming to shore of Tenochtitlan and demanding to be treated like king by the emperor Moctezuma II. The federal constitutional republic of Mexico exists today is achieved after a great mental and physical torture.
Mexico calls this day “El Grito de Dolores,” which means “the cry of Dolores.” This cry is known as battle cry of revolution give by Miguel Hidalgo. Hidalgo and his mates become frustrated with the way people of Mexico was treated. They plan to revolt and betrayed. This act didn’t stop Hidalgo from declaring war on Spaniards. He ordered people to gather in plaza when the church bells rung. He and his follower went to the streets to begun revolt.
Hidalgo leads the revolution until he captured and after words Jose Morelos, a fellow priest of Hidalgo, became a revolutionary leader and won 22 battles to capture almost all states of Guerrero in first 9 months.
After José Morelos was captured, Vicente Gurrero took over as a leader. After overthrowing the Spaniards Mexico became from Spain and now they had to decide what type of government to implement. It sounds to be good idea but were rejected after some interventions. After arguing a lot Gurrero took over and change the country to be a federal constitutional republic and become a first president of united state of Mexico.
