After so much criticism from the print media and electronic media Carrie Prejean has started defending her before media. She declared a statement on Tuesday regarding her X-rated video. She said that the video can not be declared as “sex tape” as she is alone in the film and on one else is present with her. She also claims that she was a minor of 17 years old at that time and she wanted to send the video to her boyfriend.

“You can call it whatever you want to call it. If you want to call it a sex tape, that’s fine,” Prejean told Vieira. “I sent it to my boyfriend at the time. I was a teenager. I cared about him. I trusted him,” she added. “I think now they call it ’sexting.’ “It was the biggest mistake of my life,” she told Vieira.

The 22 years old Miss California was stripped off from her crown by the Pageant Organization after her semi-nude beach pictures surfaced on internet. The Pageant Organization also took into notice her views about the gay marriage in an interview at USA Pageant in which she had stated that she does not supports the gay marriage.
The particularly X-rated tape came into light after she filed a suit against the Pageant Organization for religious harassment and demanded almost $10 million dollors. In counter attack, Pageant exposed her video before her and poor Carrie could not speak a word on it.
