Morgan Freeman is busy in the promotion campaign of his upcoming movie “Prom night in Mississippi” in these days and movie is getting fame too but the reason is not his acting but his hand. Morgan Freeman, the Golden Globe winner actor, lost his left hand on 3rd august, 2008 when his Nissan Maxima left the highway flipping several times near Ruleville. The fellow person, Demaris Meyer, was being rescued by life jaws and he had to be brought to a hospital in Memphis by helicopter. The accident was too costly for him as he lost his left shoulder, arm and elbow and all that happened because of alcohol.
He told the press around at that time
” I wound up with a lot of nerve damage in my arm, so the hand is still paralyzed. So until the nerves get down there…”
During the promotion of Prom Night a Canadian reporter who met with him reported
“He was reclining on the couch and his left limp and swaddled in a tan glove due to injuries sustained in an August 2008 car crash.”
Morgan Porterfield Freeman, Jr. was born on 1st June, 1973 and is a film director, narrator and actor and renowned for his authoritative speaking voice. Besides, Golden Globe Award he also has won Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award. He has been a part of many famous hit movies including Batman Begins, Wanted, Evan Almighty and The Dark Knight.
