On Friday afternoon, two suburban women were arrested at a Palatine hotel. According to reports, these women were arrested on prostitution-related charges. The women were arrested after an undercover operation.

According to sources, the names of the women arrested are Tiffany Denton and Neringa Golombeckyte. Tiffany Denton is 20 years old while Neringa Golombeckyte is 21 years old. Denton and Golombeckyte are residents of Timber Lane in Vernon Hills and 9900 block of 87th Ave. in Palos Hills respectively. Neringa Golombeckyte was charged with prostitution and Tiffany Denton was charged with felony pandering.

About the undercover operation, Attorney Bill Cotter of Cook County Assistant State said,

“The arrests came after an undercover Arlington Heights officer, operating as part of a task force chasing prostitution ads on Craigslist, responded to a posting on the Web site and eventually met with Golombeckyte at a Palatine hotel off Northwest Highway near Route 53,”

Cotter said that to perform a sex act Golombeckyte allegedly agreed for $200. Cotter said,

“Subsequently, officers learned of Denton’s role in the prostitution scheme as the person in charge of posting Craigslist ads and vetting customers,”

Attorney Bill Cotter said the other girl Tiffany Denton was also present at the same hotel but in another room.

On Saturday, Cook County judge set Denton’s bond at $10,000 and Golombeckyte’s bond was set at $5,000 by the court. It means, Denton has to post $1,000 and Golombeckyte has to post $500, to get out of jail.
