Toll House refrigerated-cookie-dough products were recalled by Nestle after dough was linked by bacteria E. coli infections,? by the officials of the federal health in New York.

This infection was founded in 66 people in 29 states and 5 among those people were from Washington.

A strong association has been shown between eating these raw products made by Nestle and sickness of the people among the states, since March, according to the Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) investigation laboratory reports.

More than 25 out of 66 victims were taken to the hospital and most of them were women and children.
The bacteria linked with the Nestle dough, E. coli O157 is a harmful pathogen and usually founded in contaminated meat. Vomiting, bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramping are few diseases caused by that bacteria. It is less dangerous for adults as they recovered within six days or in a week but still damages kidney and it could lead to death if precautions are not measured.

According to the state Department of Health, all five Washington cases were occurred in May. Two victims were residents of King County and one each from Grays Harbor, Pierce and Thurston counties and two of them required hospitalization.
Consumers were warned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to throw these products out of their places and advised the retailers, restaurateurs and other food-service operations not to serve these products anymore.
