In the season ending college football game Stanford Cardinals beats Notre Dame with a 45-38 score last night at Stanford Stadium, California. In the whole match both the teams played impressive game with excellent team works. Athletic director, Jack Swarbrick said before the game,
“Any version of anything you hear about a contact with a coach is absolutely wrong,”
He added,
“We haven’t talked to anybody, we haven’t authorized anybody to talk to anybody, it’s simply not true. Any version … not one of them is true.”
The coach of Notre Dame, Charlie Weis served the team for almost five years but the perfromane level never been on high note and fans criticized Charlie. Last night defeat marked the end of his coaching career with Notre Dame. Weis said,
“There’s a bunch of 22-, 23-year-old young men finishing out their career losing the last four games. They feel miserable and I feel miserable for them.”
The players of Notre Dame puts up a good performance but their defense line was not up to the mark to resist against Stanford players. Golden Tate said,
“It hurts, the thought that might be the last time he coaches Notre Dame.”
Jack Swarbrick said,
“We’ll engage in the evaluation in earnest following this game and we’ll go from there.”
