Orianthi is a 23-year-old Australian girl and Michael Jackson’s guitar player. She is the same guitarist who shares centre-stage in the rehearsal footage of “They Don’t Care About Us” with Michael Jackson.
She was born in Adelaide, Australia in 1985.She started playing piano at the age of three. At six she began to play acoustic guitar. At 11, she asked her parents for a PRS guitar of her own after watching Carlos Santana performing live. She sent demos of her guitar playing to Santana along with her biography, when she was 14. She was surprised on receiving a personal invitation from Santana, for a soundcheck and also asked to bring her guitar. She ended up playing guitar with Santana on stage.
Carlos Santana said,
“If I was going to pass the baton to somebody, she would be my first choice”
At 15., she played live with Steve Vai. About Orianthi, Carlos Santana said,
“an angel that can play guitar… a lady who has an incredible future”
Santana signed her for his personal management company. Santana was very impressed with her as he said,
“It’s not cute any more. It’s seriously ass-whupping. If I was going to pass the baton to somebody, she would be my first choice.”
The blonde Aussie girl is highly talented. She used to play guitar for the Pop King and its a huge honor. She rehearsed with Jackson, two days back from his death and she was also shocked on his sudden death. She said,
“Seeing how happy he was, excited, singing and dancing, it’s shocking,”
She also said ,
“But I’m grateful for the time I had working with him.”

Hi Orianthi,
I just saw u per4ming with Michael in his final rehearsal.
Two things fascinated me about u:
1stly, ur name
2ndly, u played a heavy metal guitar.
Combining both brings out a totally new image of a rock star(sci-fi related).

Just an incredibly beautiful woman with such a talent!!! She takes me back to long hair days of eighties.
If she keeps up with her guitar ritual, she would go far enough to be the echelon of Van Halen or Slash.
Go Orianthi!!! Your Greek and Australian fusion will take you to the highest level with your guitar talent just the way your beauty has inspired all of us!!!
best regards,
Moin
