Roshni Nadar is the new CEO of HCL Corporation. Ms Roshni Nadar is the daughter of Mr Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL. She is named as the Executive Director and CEO of HCL Corporation.

Mr Nadar himself was the Executive Director and CEO before her. Now he will continue as the head of the corporation which is the investment company. It controls the stakes in HCL Infosystems and HCL Technologies.

At the SSN College of Engineering Chennai, Mr Nadar told the newspersons,

“She took over in the new post from April,”

Ms Roshni is a trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. SSN College of Engineering in Chennai was also established by the same foundation. She has done MBA in Social Enterprise Management and Strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She has been involved with the HCL Corporation, since her return from the United States last October.

Corporate Vice-President, Strategy, HCL Technologies Limited, Mr Saurav Adhikari said that Ms Roshni Nadar is involved only in the investment company HCL Corporation and not in either HCL Infosystems or HCL Technologies. Both HCL Infosystems and HCL Technologies are managed be a group of professionals.

In HCL Technologies, HCL Corporation holds nearly 50 per cent and 44 per cent in HCL Infosystems whom revenues were recorded as Rs 7,640 crore and Rs 12,605 crore respectively, for the year ended June 2008.
