Shannon Dedrick Found

Shannon Dedrick was missing from last five days. The good news is that she has been found. Early Thursday, Sheriff Bobby Haddock said that baby was taken to the hospital and now is doing well. Pending charges against Chrystina Lynn Mercer and additional information is expected to release later today.
Washington County Sheriff Bobby Haddock said

“It was very emotional for us, because once we got her to the hospital, we called our wives and every one of us was crying. Grown men crying, it’s just such a relief. We’ve had missing children cases in the past, but nothing like this.”

Susan Baker is an accused kidnapper. According to police Susan Baker is related to James Russell Dedrick Jr., the father of ‘Shannon Dedrick’. Currently James Russell Dedrick is not facing any charge but they don’t believe that he is involved in kidnapping plot.
Susan Elizabeth Baker is also the mother of 3 year old missing child Paul Baker. In 1987 she was convicted in South Carolina for the assault of her 6 year old daughter.
Shannon Dedrick was reported missing between 3:00 and 11:00 a.m. when she had been sleeping in the bedroom with her parents. The detective focuses on Shannon’s babysitter, Susan Baker but she had reported her own son, Paul missing in 1987.
