Warpaint, the band from Los Angeles is better known for their creativity in the rock and pop music albums. The band including some of the Hollywood superstars like Shannyn Sossamon, the band’s original drummer and vocalist Jenny Lee Lindberg. The band formed in 2007 and “EP-Exquisite Corpse”, which consisted of six tracks, was the debut album of Warpaint. In three tracks, Sossamon played live drums with Warpaint.
Discussing about the role of Shannon in the Warpaint, She left the band because it was inconvenient for her to give enough time to the band due to her busy acting schedule. Shannon Sossamon is an American actress, musician, dancer, and former model. She becomes popular for her role in “A Knight’s Tale”, “The Rules of Attraction”, and “One Missed call”. Her acting skills is also appreciated where she play a role on CBS’s vampire drama “Moonlight.”
After proving herself in the field of acting, Sossamon then turned musician and joined the 2007 band, Warpaint as a drummer. She really delivers her hundred percent in the band and the band provides the perfect rocking soundtracks. But, she always gives important to acting and left the band due to her hectic schedule in film industry. Hence, Sossamon continues to study acting, music and dance.
