Carlos Coy is rumored to be dead. Coy is better known as South Park Mexican. He is an American rapper and producer. It was reported recently on internet that, South Park Mexican (SPM) died in prison. But 38 years old, Calrlos Coy is said to be alive and he is still in jail as his bail appeal was denied. Now it appears to be one more celebrity death rumor since Michael Jackson’s death.

Carlos Coy was born on November 5, 1970. He was born in Houston, Texas. The rapper is called the South Park Mexican (SPM), as he grew up in South Park neighborhood of Houston. He attended Milby High School and in 1987, he dropped out. Later on, he attended San Jacinto Junior College after obtaining his GED. SPM began rapping in college.

His first album was dropped in 1992, named “Hilwood”. Till 2000, he had released four albums. In the same year he earned his major label deal and national distribution through Universal Music Group. A that time, he was working on his own label, Dope House Records.

In 2002, was charged with 7 counts of sexual assault. The victim was a 9-year-old girl. His bail was denied by the judge as he found that the given evidence “substantially shows guilt”. Coy was convicted and sentenced 45 years in prison. But as said earlier, Coy’s death rumors are not true.
