Spinnerette will perform on the “Late Show With David Letterman”, on CBS3 at 11:35 p.m.. On the same show you can watch comic Jeff Altman performing. Katherine Heigl would be the other star on that show. Spinnerette is the name of an American alternative rock band. This band is consists of Brody Dalle, Tony Bevilacqua, Jack Irons and Alain Johannes. Both Dalle and Bevilacqua are the former members of “The Distillers”. In March 2007, Dalle emerged with the new band.

The band’s current line up features Brody Dalle on vocals and guitar, Tony Bevilacqua on guitar, Alain Johannes on guitar and bass and Jack Irons on drums.

The band was previously signed to Sire Records but later the deal was broken and the band released one demo song, “Case of the Swirls”, on their official website. Currently the band is signed to Anthem Records. Recently, on June 17, 2009, their full album was released.

A blog was posted on the band’s MySpace on August 8, 2008. There was an announcement on that blog that via official website of the band, Spinnerette fans are now able to hear the first song from the upcoming album. That song was,”Valium Knights”. For the Natasha Shneider benefit concert, Dalle played “Driving Song” (live version), as a backing band. Dalle performed it with Queens Of The Stone Age.
