Steve Jobs Liver Transplant

Not much can be said here besides what facts are being reported. Steve Jobs, Apple CEO two months ago had a liver transplant.

After Apple tried to think of Steve Jobs skinny physique as a small disorder, Steve Jobs then himself stepped up and announced in January that the unrevealed illness he was going through would force him to take an absence of leave from the firm and since January he has been on that leave. In 2004 it was revealed that Steve Jobs had pancreatic cancer which was cured, but the side effects of that cancer left Steve Jobs to get a liver transplant. But now after the liver transplant Steve Jobs is feeling much better and is scheduled to return to work at the end of this month which will be in just a few days.

But due to his liver transplant, Steve Jobs may be told to work part time initially for at least a month or two by his physicians. This may make Tim Cook, the chief operating officer of Apple to take a more encircling role. This also may appoint Tim Cook to the Apples board in the near future, said by a source working within Apple Computers.

This makes us think that the change in Apple is in process where Tim Cook will soon take the lead. Which in fact should be a big surprise as Tim Cook has done a magnificent job when Steve Jobs was away on his Leave of Absence, in that time Tim Cook had doubled the stock value of the company. Steve Jobs was thought to be the most valuable person in the company, but his leave of absence made Apple think otherwise.
